The School Beacon Hill
School is an independent, traditional, all-faith, coeducational
school incorporating preschool through fifth eight in
Miami, Florida. Founded by Irving and Cherie Liss
in 1959, Beacon Hill School continues to be run by the
Liss family under the leadership of Executive Director
Susan Hyman. Beacon Hill School is accredited by the
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Association
of Independent Schools of Florida, and the Commission
on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation and
is a member of the National Council for Private School
Accreditation and the Dade County Non Public School
Association. |

| The school is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Before and after school care and activities are included in the regular tuition. Our school day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. After school activities include homework rooms, use of the video arcade, table games, and outdoor sports and play. For an additional fee, we offer Karate, gymnastics, art, keyboard, and dance. | |

Beacon Hill Preparatory
School is an independent, traditional, all-faith,
coeducational school incorporating preschool through
grade eight. Beacon Hill is accredited by the Association
of Independent Schools of Florida and is a member
of the National Council for Private School Accreditation
and the Dade County Association of Academic Non-Public
Schools.
Beacon Hill students may be dropped off at school from 6:30 a.m. and picked up by 6:00 p.m. at no additional charge. Our school day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Click

Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Girls Flag Football,
Boys Flag Football, Chess Club, Bucket Brigade, Flag

| Beacon Hill’s newest addition, The Irving Liss Center for Learning, features a music/drama room, a library, a conference center, and additional classrooms. Beacon Hill also features a four-acre park, two swimming pools, a Silver Knight courtyard, three playgrounds, a court area for athletic activities, a computer science lab, and a cafeteria. |
